AWS's is looking for a talented government contracts lawyer to join the AWS World Wide Public Sector Legal team supporting United States State and Local Government (U.
S.
SLG) and Education (Edu) customers.
This position will be based at HQ2 in Arlington, Virginia.
Key job responsibilitiesThis Associate Corporate Counsel will support AWS's public sector sales teams by negotiating, drafting, and advising on a wide range of procurement, technology licensing, and compliance matters involving U.
S.
State and Local Government and Education customers.
Typical transactions range from standard contracts to complex, high-dollar-value strategic enterprise agreements, framework agreements, and responses to requests for proposals and quotes.
This candidate will also support innovative programs aimed at modernizing government and helping to solve real world issues faced at the state and local levels.
The successful candidate must be inquisitive, enthusiastic about technology, enjoy working hard and being continually challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.
Compensation will be based on experience and includes equity compensation.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
