Job summaryAmazon's Legal Department is looking for a talented Corporate Counsel to support Amazon Web Services (AWS), a dynamic and rapidly growing business at the forefront of the cloud computing and service industry.
Key job responsibilitiesThis attorney will lead support for the AWS Economic Development team and its efforts to enable the efficient deployment of AWS infrastructure.
The attorney will support relationship building with local communities and national, regional, and local government officials.
This attorney drafts agreements to support projects and the communities in which we invest and create jobs.
This attorney also advises on infrastructure expansion strategy and planning, as well as engagement on policy matters relevant to large-scale infrastructure projects.
In partnership with the Economic Development team, this attorney will launch and expand workforce development initiatives, which benefit local communities and increase the number of skilled workers capable of supporting Amazon operations.
