Corporate Counsel, Product and Privacy, Project Kuiper (Satellites/Communications) , Project Kuiper

We are seeking an experienced privacy and product lawyer to join the Amazon Legal team supporting Project Kuiper.
Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
As a stellar Corporate Counsel, you will be responsible for analyzing privacy and product issues related to the Kuiper network and consumer product offering.
You will work closely with Kuiper's technical teams, including the Kuiper Product Management, Networking, Services, and Security teams.
You will learn the technical details of our innovative constellation, satellites, and software.
You will handle legal issues in business-centric ways and develop processes that address risk while allowing the business flexibility and freedom to quickly develop services that prioritize and delight our customers.
This position may be based in Arlington, VA (HQ2), Seattle, WA (HQ1), or New York, NY, Earth.
Some travel, domestic and international, may be required.
No intergalactic travel is required yet.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
