Serve as seasonal groundskeeper for the Heatherlea Condominium property performing ongoing groundskeeping and landscaping support for all greenspaces that require regular maintenance.
The goal is to maintain a clean, manicured look for the property during the summer months to achieve a resort-like appearance.
Duties/Tasks:
Primary Undertake regular watering schedule of lawns, planting beds, trees, and shrubs to maintain the healthy appearance and sustain the life of all living plant materials.
An emphasis with on newly planted materials is key Regularly inspect property and identify dead or diseased plant materials such as tree branches, dead sections of shrubs, etc.
Prune/remove any dead or diseased portions up to a height of 8 feet Weeding of planting beds to included removal of out-of-place plant species, volunteer plants, invasive plants growing from dropping of seeds, etc.
Regular deadheading of planted perennials throughout the property (roses, hydrangeas, salvia, etc.
) Use a variety of provided gardening tools and techniques to make a garden look its best Maintain the cleanliness of the grounds by removing all debris that may be generated from trees and shrubs as well as any trash deposited on the grounds Work directly with Heatherlea Landscape Chairperson on any identified areas for replanting, renovating, reconditioning, and/or improving the current landscape Occasional minor painting & decorating, as directed, to maintain premium property appearance General oversight of maintaining a resort-like appearance throughout the property Immediately report problems/failures that may impact on the property and/or its visitors, to Maintenance Manager Ensure compliance to agreed upon health and safety measures while on site Adhere to all organization policies and procedures Secondary Scheduled sweeping of Garden Unit stairwells and wiping down of handrails Scheduled cleaning/polishing of property mailboxes Assist with any special projects as directed by the Maintenance Manager Job Types:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
