STAQSS - Senior Business Operations Analyst (SAF/AQC)

Apogee is seeking a Senior Business Operations Analyst located at the Pentagon, VA in support of the Secretary of the Air Force Deputy Assistant Secretary for Contracting (SAF/AQC).
SAF/AQC is the Air Force's lead contracting representative on the Air Staff responsible for developing and executing innovative business strategies and cost-effective contracting solutions to enable the global Air Force mission.

What you will be doing:
Performing research, analysis, and assessments of information technology systems.
Providing technology and process road maps that indicate how, when, and at what cost technologies (hardware and software solutions) and other process improvements may be integrated into existing automated information systems for both procurement processes and Air Force classified acquisition programs.
Providing technical and operational recommendations.
Analyzing existing and future automated information systems.
Supporting data management, data migration between systems, Verification and Validation, data improvement, and Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR)-related projects and reporting.
Maintaining, developing, and analyzing planning, scheduling, and management data.
Researching and analyzing program trends, identifying issues, and recommending solutions.
Assisting with implementation of program requirements.
Providing recommendations on the allocation of funding, establishment of program goals, objectives, and schedules, and the formulation of program direction.
Identifying and researching programmatic issues and tradeoffs in terms of required capabilities, costs, and schedules.
Reviewing and evaluating the impact of Federal, DoD, and US Air Force (USAF) policies and activities that affect Air Force Contracting Business Systems Division programs and capability areas.

Master's degree in business, finance, or engineering discipline with 10
years of DoD acquisition program analysis experience, OR Bachelor's degree business, finance, or engineering discipline with 12
years of DoD acquisition program analysis experience, OR 18
years of DoD acquisition program analysis experience Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and project management/scheduling software programs such as Microsoft Project Experience in Federal and DoD e-business and contracting systems (e.
g.
, Standard Procurement System, ConWrite, Automated Contract Preparation System (ACPS)), e-business and contracting automation tools (e.
g.
, Federal Procurement System-Next Generation (FPDS-NG), Electronic Document Access (EDA), Wide-Area Workflow (WAWF), and Automated Business Service System)
