ICT Corporate Infrastructure Build Quality Assurance Coordinator

As we continue to grow our Quality Assurance division, we are looking for new team members to deliver our Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QAQC) inspection program for Infrastructure Cabling, WiFi & Audio VisualAs an ICT Build Quality Assurance Coordinator within CIT, you will have oversight of Amazon's global corporate ICT infrastructure during the execution phase of a build.
The role will be responsible for implementing our QAQC process by monitoring quality of delivery, undertaking onsite inspections and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
This role will be office based and you will also be required to travel to project sites to ensure that Amazon's Design Consultants, Low Voltage Contractors (LVC) and AV Integrators have completed all project tasks in accordance with the statement of work (SOW).
This includes, but is not limited to validating cabling infrastructure installations, witness testing, test result review, Wireless Access Point installation and functional testing of Audio Visual.
The position requires working knowledge in a wide variety of building types and systems (both the design of such systems and also installation and maintenance standards).
Candidates must be capable of auditing and inspecting these standards for compliance, identify defects, create punch lists and implement remediation plans.
You will be responsible for alleviating risks and work with multiple vendors to close out defects rapidly prior to handover and communicate (both written/verbally) with key stakeholders.
This position will be part of a fast-moving business unit, where everyone on the team works on their own initiative and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
As a member of this global team, you will engage with key stakeholders and vendors across various disciplines to ensure the ICT infrastructure is compliant with Amazon & Industry standards and ready for commencement of building occupation.

Key job responsibilitiesCollaborate with internal and external stakeholder teams to facilitate deployment of ICT infrastructure to include telecom spaces (i.

MPOE, MDF, IDF), pathways, horizontal/backbone cabling, OSP cabling, racks, network equipment, WiFi and Audio Visual Attend project meetings as necessary to review progress and track MDF & IDF room readyReview ICT design consultant onsite observation (OSO) reports during the execution phase of projectsReview LVC quality, adherence to ICT specification, identify and resolve defectsConduct site visits during the execution phase to undertake final inspection and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on Cabling Infra, WiFi and Audio VisualWork with our Network Infrastructure Room Ready team for network hardware installation & room ready compliance, and identification of defectsGenerate and report corrective action/remediation plansReview LVC Risk & Issue logsIdentify and respond to high-priority issues rapidly, effectively action and close all customer complaints and defectsEncourage continuous improvement by documenting vendor performance, identifying root cause trends and conducting Lessons Learned to mitigate future recurrenceTrack and review post project documentation (i.
