Accounting Program Manager (Hybrid)

A growing services organization in Virginia is looking to add a new Accounting Program Manager to their growing team in Arlington.
This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 3 days a week.

Responsibilities:
The Accounting Program Manager will:
Support all parts of the financial reporting process Assess the effectiveness of controls in their area using the understanding of internal control design concepts Support other Project Managers with accounting validation Identify process improvement opportunities and drive positive change across the organization Enhance partnerships between Accounting and various business and IT groups Perform technical accounting research, as needed Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
10
years of Accounting experience Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Proven grasp of all Accounting fundamentals, such as GAAP, journal entries, debits & credits, account validation Experience in Accounting Validation and Finance Renditions (UAT Testing) Solid understanding of Accounting systems flow / architecture Microsoft Excel proficient Project / Program Management experience Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong attention to detail Highly organized Desired Skills:
Operation Accounting experience Excellent analytical skills Demonstrated history of solving multiple complex Operational and Accounting challenges Natural propensity for organization and an aptitude for information technology Experience working with a fast-paced, high-tech start-up or similar company Recommended Skills Acceptance Testing Accounting Systems Analytical Architecture Attention To Detail Business Process Improvement Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
