Defense Financial Business Systems Specialist with Security Clearance

Tripoint Solutions is seeking a Defense Financial Business Systems Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a diverse background in Federal Program Management as well as a knowledge of Defense financial systems, financial management processes, and systems integration.
Location:
Hybrid Remote; some travel to Tripoint Solutions' headquarters in Arlington, VA and the customer's site in Alexandria, VA will be required.
The successful candidate will be accountable to:
Demonstrate knowledge in both financial management and information technology system development and integration.
Coordinate with the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) and other financial IT system owners to ensure processing of financial transactions sent from the travel system.
Identify issues in financial transaction flows, research issues, and coordinate resolution with financial system owners while applying Defense finance policies and rules.
Work closely with Project Manager to align product issues with appropriate action and escalation.
Lead efforts to integrate the travel system to financial systems via the Global Exchange Service (GEX).
Update interface requirements documentation based on new product requirements or changes in the financial system environment.
Ensure Memorandum of Agreements (MOAs) are in place for financial systems integrated into the product.
Assist in artifact gathering for the Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements No 18 (SSAE-18) audits of the product.
Provide Defense financial expertise, as needed, during the SSAE-18 Audit to increase auditor understanding leading to more accurate audits.
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the Standard Financial Information Structure (SFIS) 11.
2 to support future compliance of the product and answering data calls in reference to product compliance.
Participate in discussions with the Defense Travel Management Office (DTMO) Travel Assistance Center or processing issues and help define potential issue resolution.
Ensure stakeholders receive up-to-date communication and required deliverables.
Experience, Education & Training:
Bachelor's degree8 years of related experience in Federal Program Management and Defense financial systemsDemonstrated knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and process maturity frameworks such as Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Agile Methodologies for Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)Proficient with Atlassian software (Jira or Confluence) and Microsoft 365 toolsExperience effectively articulating recommendations and conclusions, both verbally and writtenStrong data driven and analytical skillsExcellent leadership and motivational skillsHighly organized and able to build trusting relationships with stakeholdersProject Management Professional (PMP) certification preferredITIL certification preferredCertified Defense Financial Manager or Defense Financial certification preferredFinance Defense Travel Administrator experience preferred Clearance Requirements:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
