AWS established a specialized group of service teams responsible for the work we are doing with the U.
S.
Intelligence Community.
We are building some of the largest and most complex distributed systems in the world, and we need adaptable people to help us implement and operate them.
This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.
S.
citizen and must currently possess an active Top Secret security clearance with polygraph and satisfy other security related requirements.
Available locations include Arlington, VA; Herndon, VA.
A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.

This role will sit in our new headquarters in Northern Virginia, where Amazon will invest $2.
5 billion dollars, occupy 4 million square feet of energy efficient office space, and create at least 25,000 new full-time jobs.

A day in the lifeEvery day is Day 1 at Amazon.
On a typical day, our Amazon Dedicated Cloud Engineers (ADCE) will support AWS CloudTrail engineering and operations by completing activities including but not limited to:
- Manage and monitoring systems health and status,- Provisioning devices, assisting with data ingestion, and device cleaning,- Troubleshooting device, network, and/or configuration related issues,- Identifying, documenting, and communicating engineering and operations recommendations to team members, - Writing and disseminating after action reports capturing key events, actions taken, and future mitigation plans,- Providing on-call support when necessary.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
