Overview Nakupuna Consulting is looking for a Senior PeopleSoft Software Developer - Supervisory/Deputy Manager This position is for an individual who can design functionality for PeopleSoft systems and oversee development activities for that functionalityThey will be expected to create business process models (BPMs)/process workflows, provide input for development standards and work within the approximately 40-member software development community to enforce those standardsThis addition to our ohana will provide input on community training and leadership development, participate in the design of the environment landscape and upgrade strategies with associated schedule planning and coordination of resources to execute the schedule, and create and maintain Contract Deliverables required by the client that can include software development plans and migration strategiesThis position will require direct interfacing with the client's leadership, and will be in a supervisory position for timesheets and other human resource tasks of sprint team development leadsThey will assist in leading a community of developers with the responsibility to increase quality and velocity, and work with each developer in their career progressionThis position will work beside the senior development manage (community manager) to accomplish duties and be a backup for that managerResponsibilities The following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assignedManagement may assign additional duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.
o Create BPMs for strategic processes and environment landscapeso Work within the community to create and enforce development standardso Create Contract deliverables for the client that can include software development plans, migration strategies, environment landscapes, and potentially otherso Conduct software demonstrations with customers/internal resources to show standards or software functionalityo Participate in client taskers on strategic execution on how to accomplish goals within the communityo Speak authoritatively on development strategies and standards related to a primarily PeopleSoft and SQL technical environmento Provide design & development guidance to sprint teamso Participate and help shape the peer review process and development standardso Participate or lead in client meetings which can require a walkthrough of our standards and development strategies and other leadership type meetingso Responsible for research and implementing methods to increase velocity among the developerso Responsible for ensuring development resources are expanding their technical skillso Manage direct report individuals including conducting performance reviews, ensuring appropriate tasking, training, and mentoring, ensuring timesheet compliance, support recruiting and staffing initiatives, and other management duties Project delivery will periodically require working evenings and weekends, sometimes with little advance noticeQualifications Skills/

Experience:
o This position requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent relevant business experience.
o The successful candidate should have at least one year of professional experience relevant to this position, and a minimum of 6 years development experience.
o Experience in or work for the U.
Smilitary or Department of Defense is also highly desirableClearance:
This position requires ability to pass a T3 background investigationMust be a U.

o Ability to lift up to 25 poundso Ability to use stairs without assistanceo Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingerso Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situationso Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position locationThe projected compensation range for this position is $110,000.
00 to $170,000.
