Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
The mission of Project Kuiper's Government Solutions (KGS) is to leverage Kuiper and provide high speed, low latency, and secure satellite broadband services to United States and allied government customers.
We have an immediate opening for a Sr.
Technical Program Manager to support the Kuiper Government Solutions (KGS) team focusing on U.
S.
Government customers such as NASA, DoD, and National Security.
As a Sr.
Technical Program Manager, you will work with technical and senior leadership across the program to ensure Kuiper government systems meet the highest engineering standards.
In addition to building and maintaining processes of the Kuiper Government Solutions team, you will be responsible for establishing and tracking milestones and project priorities to maximize development efficiency, identify project critical paths, and ensure supplier/partner products are delivered on time and to Kuiper specifications.
You will work in a collaborative, analytical, and fast-paced environment and must be comfortable interacting with highly technical cross-functional teams.
The candidate must have strong business judgment, dive deep into data, have strong writing skills, and be comfortable leading executive-level reviews.

Candidates with demonstrated experience in deployed secure satellite telecommunications services will be preferred.
Key job responsibilitiesThis role is responsible for defining Project Kuiper's government communication systems provisioning, management, and monitoring solutions in support of a wide variety of government customer ground, air, maritime, and space based users utilizing Kuiper's Low Earth Orbit satellites.
This is a unique opportunity to assist in the development of a global broadband communication system.
You will work closely with the commercial satellite and consumer terminal teams to organize resources, schedule milestones, and track achievements in the group.
In addition, you will be responsible for identifying project dependencies and critical paths in government systems development.
On a day-to-day basis, you will coordinate among teams and subcontractors to surface and solve the critical risks to the programs you are assigned to lead.
In this role you will:
o Devise and implement technical roadmaps based on customer use caseso Develop roadmaps and manage disparate tasks with varying prioritieso Lead development of government focused SATCOM infrastructure developmento Specify and implement service provisioning, management, monitoring, and operations solutions in support of various government customers, each with unique security and cyber concerns.
Oversee and monitor implementation, testing, fielding, certification, commissioning, and operations of those solutions.
o Propose and drive adoption of improvements to the Kuiper program to improve government user utility and satisfactiono Act as the point of contact for Kuiper Government Solutions with external teams, partners, and subcontractors for assigned solutions, to identify and mitigate programmatic risks in order to meet established goalso Communicate clearly and effectively to executive management on the plans, status, and critical issues in narrative and verbal formats.
Escalate urgent issues appropriately and drive them to closure in a timely mannero Document trade studies for team review for stakeholder buy-ino Establish and perform subcontract management and define and assess vendor deliverieso Organize regular project and team meetings, focusing design teams on program milestones and unblock technical issues by pulling together the multi-functional technical expertise to resolve issueso Develop, track, & communicate project schedules and achievementso Drive project execution, develop project plans, make technical trade-offs, manage risks, track and report on status, and resolve blocking issueso Work closely with partner organizations (including government agencies) to develop work packages and ensure that all teams have what they need to be successfulo Establish goals and metrics to identify opportunities to deliver customer solutions to meet cost, performance and schedule requirements.
This position is in Arlington, VA.
Some travel, including domestic and international, will be required.
Security Clearance:
Candidates must have recent or active US Government security clearance of TS/SCI (with polygraph preferred) and be able to maintain a TS/SCI security clearance, so you must be a U.
S.
citizen for consideration.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
