Product Manager, Global Security Operations, Risk Investigations for Network & Goods

Risk Investigations for Network & Goods (RING), Global Security Operations is seeking an experienced Product Manager to operationally lead and manage world-class technologies that serve and support our risk mitigation initiatives, investigations, and loss prevention teams globally.
In this position, you will drive coordination with other teams and peers, and help guide operational functionality of the various technology systems.
You will need to interact extensively with cross-functional groups such as end users, key stakeholders, technology teams and management.
You will work with development teams to align your process with the design of next-generation systems, ensuring alignment with our long-term operational and strategic objectives.
This position involves regular communication with senior management on plans, status, risks and emergent issues.
Excellent listening, writing, verbal communication skills, and very strong technical competency are essential.
You will help ensure delivery and proper integration with other applications and systems through effective staffing, technical leadership, monitoring, metrics, and operational excellence.
You must possess strong leadership, be detail-oriented, a quick decision maker, work with data, and have a passion for getting things right.
You must have a desire to drive permanent removal of defects, and ensure highest quality of service is provided in an efficient, effective, and proactive manner.
Key job responsibilities - Develop business cases which receive the required approval, financial and technical resources, and the support of appropriate management to enact desired changes - Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders - Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans - Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle - Ensure the project is completed within the estimated budget and course correct when needed without jeopardizing the outcome or timeline - Evaluate the final project and identify the key factors that led to the successful completion of the project and also those that were not beneficial for the project - Enhance, track, and report on metrics which are key performance indicators, allowing performance improvements so that the desired outcomes are achieved to plan and in a timely manner - Delegate tasks and assign specific roles to direct reports and motivate through the course of the project - Ensure all programs comply with document Amazon InfoSec standards - Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methods to drive process improvements and increase efficiencyA day in the lifeBenefits

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
