Senior Technical Program Manager, Supply Chain Operations

In this role, you will be part of the team that spearheads supply chain optimization and operational excellence projects, especially in support of our public sector business.
This is a high-judgment role, where you will be the authoritative voice representing the entire AWS supply chain during contract negotiations with public sector customers.
You must be able to translate customer and regulatory requirements into actionable deliverables, determine what is a true requirement versus a nice-to-have, and understand how to find the balance between cybersecurity and business objectives.
The ideal candidate is a leader that can think and communicate strategically while also executing tactical actions.
On one hand, you will directly interact with senior leaders and executives and must be fluent in executive communication to gain support for new initiatives and obtain consensus.
On the other hand, you will also be responsible for delivering on your initiatives, and must have both excellent interpersonal and writing skills to work across myriad teams in the supply chain, security, and legal organizations to deliver results in an ambiguous operating environment.
This role will also be responsible for engagements with DC-metro-area public sector customers at secure facilities.
As a result, other work locations (including remote/virtual) cannot be considered for this role.
The candidate selected must obtain and maintain a security clearance at the TS/SCI with polygraph level.
Upon start, the selected candidate will be sponsored for a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.

The larger organization has teams performing manufacturing, logistics, and reverse/recycling operations, and we take on the tough projects that would otherwise distract those teams from delivering operational excellence.

-Representing the supply chain during customer engagements and negotiations-Spearheading new cross-functional services and capabilities-Working with other organizations to address/mitigate supply chain risk-Otherwise connecting the dots across a complex, global supply chainAbout the teamOur team is part of the organization responsible for physical aspects of the AWS hardware supply chain, such as manufacturing datacenter racks, logistical operations to transport racks and other equipment to/from datacenters, and recycling parts at product end-of-life.
We are the bridge-builders, connecting the different functional areas and working across other organizations to improve our supply chain.
As such, we are the jack-of-all-trades team, jumping in to support the larger organization where needed.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
