Overview Nakupuna Consulting is looking to hire a Program Manager to support a DoD client within the Depart of the Navy, in executing the day-to-day administrative, analytical, and professional support requirements of a federal advisory committeeThe Program Manager will support the client in the strategic planning and execution of the Business Operations Team's stakeholder analyses and engagement plansOur team will work to design, facilitate, and present informative engagements and deliverables on business practices related to innovation, science, and technology, according to relevant legislative and executive guidance The role requires an organized critical thinker with excellent communication and collaboration skillsResponsibilities The following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assignedManagement may assign additional duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.
o Oversee business operations support for the office, including but not limited to, meeting and event coordination, travel management, official meeting documentation, and financial and HR reportingo Collaborate with senior DoD and Government officials on special projects that may cover topics related to strategic management, organizational change, national security, emerging technologies, industry disruptors, and other strategic conceptso Develop executive, high-level, professional briefings, reports, and strategic communicationsManage website and social media communicationso Monitor project execution and update leadership of any issues (e.

, technical problems, project delays) that may impact achievement of client requirements or that may exceed defined scope of worko Encourage and foster creativity and innovative thinking among the team to deliver novel tools and conceptso Manage contract personnel and operations to include financial tracking and performance managemento Supervise and track the team's progress to ensure cost, schedule, and performance requirements are met Qualifications Skills/
Qualifications:
o Experience drafting professional correspondence and presentation materials.
o Experience developing recommendations and briefing senior officials.
o Familiarity with software-based programs for scheduling, organization, and collaboration tools.
o Experience developing, executing, and monitoring work plans, timelines, reports, briefings, studies, memoranda, and presentations, as well as experience with the review and approval process of these deliverables.
o Keen interest in supporting an environment of innovation, entrepreneurship, process improvement, and other leading edge team leadership practices.
o Ability to work under pressure and to adapt quickly in a changing environment.
o Proven experience leading business operations teams and managing client relationshipsOSD and Navy experience is highly desired.
o Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
