Responsibilities:
o Collaborate with stakeholders, including software developers, system architects, and business analysts, to gather data requirements and translate them into UML class diagrams. Design and develop UML class diagrams to represent the entities, attributes, and relationships within the data model. Analyze existing data models and identify areas for improvement, ensuring data integrity, efficiency, and scalability. Validate and refine UML class diagrams through reviews and discussions with cross-functional teams. Ensure compliance with industry best practices and standards for UML modeling. Work closely with database administrators and developers to implement and validate the data model in various database management systems. Conduct data modeling training sessions and provide guidance to team members as needed. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in UML modeling techniques and tools.
Qualifications:
o Clearance:
Secret (no interim clearances) Experience with ARIS UML toolset Familiarity with reading/reviewing OO codebases such as Java and/or Python Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Proven experience in UML modeling, specifically in designing UML class diagrams. Strong knowledge of database concepts and data modeling principles. Proficiency in UML modeling tools, such as Enterprise Architect, MagicDraw, or Visual Paradigm.o Familiarity with database management systems and SQL. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve data modeling issues. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
