Provide program management support to the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) and the F-35 Software Depot Lead from F-35 A/B/C Software Depot Activation through transition to full Software Sustainment activityEssential Job Functions:
The F-35 Software Depot Analyst position is assigned to the F-35 JPO under the OCIO, provided through Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD)Provide acquisition and program management coordination to Software Depots located at Hill AFB, Warner Robbins AFB, and NAWCWD (for China Lake and Point Mugu)Help coordinate and report the status of all SW Depot activation related events required for the multi-service, international 5th generation F-35A/B/C fighterThese include Joint Depot Activation Working Groups (JDAWGs), SW Depot Program Management Reviews (PMRs), SW Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs) and other SW Status eventsProvide acquisition and program management input to the OCIO and SW Depot Lead on strategies for achieving F-35 software activation to include defining and executing software requirements for Depots to reach Initial and Full Operational Capability (IOC and FOC)Provide software acquisition and development input in support of Partnership Agreements (PAs) and Implementation Agreements with Prime Contractors and other stakeholdersAssist in creating Trade Studies, Requirements/Design Shortfalls, Development of PMP software products, Block modification and retrofit coordination of PMO products, Contract Specification and Technical Coordination, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Acceptance /Specification compliance, Export/Certification compliance and Developmental Engineering SupportEnsure collaboration and transition of software sustainment from the Prime to organic entities by establishing technical software process requirementsSupport the SW Depot Lead to develop a technical strategy for realigning the Depots from OCIO to the designated F-35 PMOsThis will include software budgetary planning, identification of personnel skillsets and staffing needs, identification and development of software tools and the sustainment development environment (both hardware and software), and integration into the JPO cloudRequired Skills:

SCitizenship is requiredMaster's degree with 4
years of relevant experience is requiredA Bachelor degree with 5
years of relevant experience will also be consideredA current clearance is required and must be maintained for the duration of employmentBroad-based knowledge and experience of DoD acquisition and software development processes and methodologies is requiredPossess knowledge of Warfighting capabilities, Agile Development, Planning, Software Oversight to include cost-schedule-performance, Process Improvement, Configuration & Product Management and QualityPossess strong written and oral skills along with strong leadership, negotiation, and presentation capabilities in order to collaborate with high level representatives across the F-35 team, as well as senior leaders across platforms and agencies both internal and external, contract support teams, and other agencies Must possess a willingness to engage, introduce, and lead all elements of the F-35 OFP and provide guidance across NAWCWD Programs aligned with the F-35 systemKnowledge of Federal, DoD, and U.
