Security Specialist with Security Clearance

Dutieso Serves as a Security Specialist, for the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology ASA (ALT).o Assist the ASA (ALT) Security Management team in the management of the information, personnel, physical, industrial security, operations, safety and intelligence programs both at the Collateral and Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) level.o Aids the ASA (ALT) Security Manager with the maintenance of the agency's program for proper classification, re-grading, reviewing, and declassification of classified defense information and materials received.o Implements an effective Information Security program and security education program as required by AR regulatory guidance.o Manages physical security program for all assigned workspaces.o In and Out processing of the military, civilian and contractor personnel, to include processing building passes; Common Access Cards, initial security training and controlling access to various areas controlled by ASA (ALT).o Manages Mission Partner Affiliate Sponsor Manager system in support of ASA(ALT)s Industrial Security Program.o Analyzes accident and injury reports and develops recommendations to eliminate or control detected hazards.o Provides OPSEC review of written documents and presentationsRequirements Conditions of Employmento Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.o Two-year trial period may be required.o In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.o Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on an SSBI with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).o Temporary Duty (TDY) travel may be required 5% or less of the time.o This position requires the incumbent obtain the following core SPeD Certification:
