ResponsibilitiesComplete Building Services is a facility management company that partners with major hotel brands Marriott, Hilton, Holiday Inn, and Cambria.
We are looking at bringing in a new Hotel Chief Engineer to support us in Washington, DC.
Salary range $35-$40 per hour.
In this role you are eligible to make overtime.
As a CBS Chief Engineer, you must be able to do the following:
Assist in developing, managing and operating and capital budgetsDevelop and implement plans and schedules to achieve company and department goalsDevelop processes, procedures and standards for the facilities operational performanceRead and understand contract and RFP requirementsCreate an atmosphere of professionalism and mutual support among employeesReview work performance of subordinatesManage and maintain the completion of the facilities scheduled PM's through the CMMSAssist with environmental complianceAssist with the compliance of local, state, and federal codesDevelop, manage and coordinate all shift schedules including holiday, vacation, sick and emergency coveragesConduct weekly staff meetings to discuss facility operations, project status, toolbox safety and other relevant informationReview, approve and submit weekly time sheets, work order tickets and other required documentationAccurately document work performed on tickets and/or work ordersAs required, prepare and submit a cost analysis report for contracted workAssist with updating and implementing HAZCOM and environmental programsSet-up, maintain and use filing systemPerform tool and equipment inventory monthlyMaintain skills and knowledge to industry standardsPerform annual and semi-annual performance reviewsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications CFC Universal license (410A)3-5 years working in a Hotel as a Building Engineer or Chief Building EngineerMust have construction management experienceExperience opening a new hotel Must possess excellent customer service skillsMust be available to be on call 24/7Able to lift up to sixty (60) poundsCapable of ascending ladders up to a height of thirty (30) feet EOE, including disability/veteransAbout the Company:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
