Dietary Aide

Two years of experience in a healthcare facility or related industry preferred.
Possess knowledge of basic food preparation and able to present food in an appetizing manner.
Prepares designated food for residents, guests, and employees according to established production guidelines and sanitation standards.
Distributes and serves food to residents, guests, and employees using safe food handling techniques and ensures that meal service schedules are met.
Sets up and/or serves during tray-line service, putting appropriate eating utensils, condiments, hot and cold food items, etc.
called for on the resident menus.
Delivers loaded food to Nursing Stations, passes trays to room service residents, and brings food carts back to the kitchen after meal service.
Participates in catering of special functions and serving special holiday menus.
Operates dish machine, washes pots, pans, and utensils, disposes of trash, cleans and sanitizes trash cans, and participates in the cleaning and maintenance of sanitation of equipment, storage and work areas.
Utilizes Universal Precautions and all relevant protocols in the care of all residents.
Observes all policies and procedures currently in effect, including fire and safety programs.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
