AFSIM, Command PE, GIANT, STORMProgram SummaryThis multi-year, multi-million dollar program will support the Office of the Director of Defense Research and Engineering for Modernization (DDR (M)) in efforts to advance the Department's investments and capabilities aligned with the National Defense Strategy's modernization priorities.
This team will collectively unify and advance these capabilities by providing technical and engineering support for OUSD(R) through DDR(M).
Position SummaryThe Senior Engineer will provide professional technical and engineering services in direct support to the Office of Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R)) Mission Integration directorate with its mission to establish, maintain, and propagate mission integration across the DoD.
Primary areas of technical support services include mission engineering, analyses and studies, and mission integration expertise to produce objective insights and analytic justification to inform future technology and capability investment decisions within the Planning, Programming, and Budgeting Execution (PPBE) process and aid in the prioritization, alignment and validation of requirements within Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) to deliver modernized capabilities that enable an all domain joint force aligned with future Joint Warfighting Concepts.
Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide system engineering and analysis supportProvide modeling and simulation supportProvide System Architecture Development supportProvide technical and management research and inputs for OUSD(R) MI data calls, correspondence, presentation requirements, briefings, articles, instructions, handbooks, reports, training courses, and similar items, as requiredQualificationsMasters degree in an Engineering related field (PhD desired) along with a minimum of twenty (20) years of relevant professional experience.
Experience leading Systems Engineering (SE) tasks including Technology Analysis and Assessment, System Definition, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture development and architecture products for Systems of Systems (SoS), kill chain analysis, SE tradespace and analysis to define capability gaps, Modeling and Simulation activities for mission improvement, and Logistics support of Department of Defense (DoD) systemsExperience in establishing strong working relationships with R program managers as well as organization leadershipExperience in supporting technical, managerial or operational fields and have expert credentials or be recognized as an authority and have the mature judgement required to advise senior government personnel.
Expert in developing system solutions to complex and challenging DoD problemsExperience leading the planning and execution of complex mission and systems analysis effortsExperience interfacing with Joint Staff, Services, and warfighters to coordinate engineering and analysis needs and analytic results Experience as chief engineer or lead systems engineer for a major defense acquisition program development Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbout UsSURVICE Engineering is a nationally recognized, single-source engineering service provider for Government and Industry organizations involved in all phases of the systems engineering process.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
