Job summaryAWS Commerce Platform is seeking a talented Technical Product Manager for Commerce Platform services within specialized AWS Regions that support government customers.
AWS offerings such as EC2, EBS, S3, ElastiCache, EMR, Aurora, and RedShift are massively scaled services that make up a critical piece of the internet.
Commerce Platform processes trillions of events per month from AWS services such as these to provide bill generation, payment processing, fraud prevention, customer usage, and analytics to both AWS customers and internal users.
Because we sit at the nexus of all AWS services and interact directly with end-customers, we work closely with other AWS teams to ensure our customers are provided with a great experience.

As a Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving and delivering multiple complex projects simultaneously.
In this role, you will provide project leadership, anticipate bottlenecks, mitigate project risks, quantify the impact of making tradeoffs, and balance business needs against technical constraints.
You will provide technical leadership that gets software applications built and integrated into the AWS ecosystem.
You will work closely with stakeholders across various design, software and business teams to identify and drive innovative solutions that achieve business goals and align with long-term product roadmaps.
Arlington, VA:
This role will sit in our new headquarters in Northern Virginia, where Amazon will invest $2.
5 billion dollars, occupy 4 million square feet of energy efficient office space, and create at least 25,000 new full-time jobs.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
