Senior Systems Engineer with Security Clearance
JOB SUMMARY Seeking a Systems Engineer located in the National Capital Region to support system engineering and technical assistance to the MCPO.
The position will support MCPO with documenting current North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) NATO National Gateway (NNG) network designs ( As Is) and assist in developing future architecture ( To Be), including cyber defense mechanisms and operational accreditation processes and map to appropriate DoD cyber and accreditation requirements.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in defining the DoD and United States Government operational environment that the NATO NNG must support.
Assist in architecting and design of the US portion of the NNG to include development of installation and recurring management cost estimates.
Assist in development of requirements for systems and networks on the US side of the NNGs.
Assist in defining roles and responsibilities for installation and recurring management of NNGs to include development of recommendation for organizational assignment of roles and responsibilities.
Assist in the development of a transition plan shifting circuit connections from extant NCIA connections to the new NNGs.
THE FOLLOWING IS REQUIRED Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or computer science related field with at least 10 years DoD IT and engineering experience.
Experience supporting system engineering, technology integration and road-mapping.
Experience analyzing DoD doctrine and DoD IT policy, including understanding of Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS), DOTMLPF Analysis, and Joint Mission Essential Task List (JMETL)/Universal Joint Task List (UJTL) construct.
Experience with defining C2I operational environments and decomposing functional requirements on multiple programs of varying complexity.
Familiarity, understanding, experience with some or all of the following:
MPE, JADC2 SABRE, DoD ICAM Strategy, DoD Digital Modernization Strategy, DoD Data Strategy, DoD Cyber Security Strategy, DoD AI Strategy, FMN, and MPE Partners Experience generating proposals, white papers, plans, procedures, and reports.
Proficiency in planning and tracking programs using project and requirements management software applications (eg, Microsoft Project).
Exceptional written and oral communication skills with ability to use standard Microsoft Office tools Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary and physically distributed team environment.
Must be a US Citizen with a SECRET DoD Security Clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI.
THE FOLLOWING IS DESIRED Familiarity with Mission Partner Environment Information Systems Experience leading major DoD/Service C2I systems architecture and modernization efforts Familiarity with cutting edge cloud and DevSecOps practices for delivering C2.
Experience with modeling of engineering systems.
Experience working with multi-organizational, geographically distributed, and segmented engineering teams.
Ability to develop CONOPs that synergize technologies with tactics.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
