Director, Multiplatform Marketing: App and Streaming

Position Overview:
The Director, Multiplatform Marketing is the primary marketing stakeholder for the PBS Video App and PBS Passport (a content streaming station member benefit). The Director will conceive, develop and launch a comprehensive strategy for promotion of the app to substantially increase app usage across platforms. The Director will work alongside the Video Strategy and Station Services teams to ideate and execute strategies dedicated to Passport membership. The Director will additionally develop and execute select multiplatform marketing campaigns and initiatives of varying scope and complexity to drive audience awareness of, and engagement with, PBS content and the PBS Brand as a whole. This position works in partnership with stations, producers, external partners and internal PBS departments (Business Intelligence, Product, Video Strategy, Programming, Social Media, Creative Services) to implement, distribute and analyze general audience marketing and communication plans. In all work, the incumbent maintains a data-driven, strategic, multiplatform perspective and leads ongoing efforts to experiment and innovate. Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Promote the availability of PBS Video app and benefits to a broad audience, driving increased user acquisition, retention, and conversion Serve as project lead for the full lifecycle of select multiplatform content marketing campaigns Lead all efforts for app promotion including materials development, management, and station communication Direct creative efforts for development and delivery of App/Passport promotional assets Work closely with Video Strategy and Marketing teams on priority title promotion Serve as Marketing liaison to station superuser group to ensure transparency and information flow Run cross departmental Passport Marketing meetings to align on messaging Work with marketing leadership to establish KPIs, monitor progress and update management on achievement Serve as a marketing expert providing guidance as a core participant in the Audience360 grant project Work closely with Product and Content departments to implement effective ASO and paid search campaigns Requirements for success:

years progressive experience in marketing/digital/member marketing positions, with specific skills around strategic planning and product marketing. Experience in TV, digital media planning, digital products and platforms preferred. Proven time and project management skills, effectively meeting deadlines as priorities evolve and shift. Demonstrated ability to successfully manage high-profile and sensitive relationships. Experience with workflow and digital asset management systems. Track record of collaborating with various levels of internal and external stakeholders on cross-functional internal and external teams, including Creative Services, member station staff, show producers, Programming and Business Intelligence. Familiarity with martech, adtech, and digital marketing operations Ability to build clear narratives through data analytics and campaign reporting (Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, other digital marketing tools) Experience managing staff Resourceful problem solver who can determine how to get things done, even when navigating through ambiguity An analytical mind, natural curiosity, passion for the media entertainment and streaming industry Able to build relationships across the organization to influence cross-functional teams Knowledge of OTT and streaming marketplace Passion for digital innovation, translating insights into action, and mission driven organizations Solutions-oriented, diplomatic, and calm under pressure. Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written. Extreme attention to detail, a quick study, and an iterative learner. Must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire to be considered. Proof of vaccination required. Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Brand Marketing & Management, Digital Marketing & Social MediaEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
