The Lead Requirements Analyst will provide consulting, management, financial and analytical support specifically related to management advisory services.
The work will be performed at a Department of Defense (DoD) client site in the Pentagon (Arlington, VA).
Responsibilities Serve as a subject matter expert on DoD acquisition strategy,and policy related to all classes of supply, equipment and services.
Provide program management support to organizations within the OUSD for Acquisition and Sustainment (A&S) like the Defense Assisted Acquisition (DA2) Cell Serve as a subject matter expert for DoD interagency acquisition and funding policies.
Work collaboratively with the military services, DoD agencies, other federal agencies (eg the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)) and the domestic industrial base to coordinate the DoDs response to current and future federal emergencies.
Track acquisition and funding requirements to contract execution and completion.
Provide subject matter expertise and financial management support to the OUSD(A&S) leadership by:
Coordinating and consolidating supply information for medical resources from the Services and DoD Agencies to quickly respond to demand from the interagency.
Utilizing a supply chain capability to use data to forecast gaps and identify opportunities for the industrial base to provide various commodities like medical resources.
Prioritizing solutions from industry to connect viable suppliers to the interagency, including prioritization of efforts appropriate for the use of the Defense Production Act.
Support and lead projects analyzing and making recommendations on existing logistics, maintenance, supply chain and acquisition systems and policies in government organizations such as the DoD.
Provide program management support, perform data analysis, develop briefings and papers for all levels of DoD leadership, and conduct research in support of DoD logistics strategy, maintenance policy and processes, supply chain initiatives and acquisition policy.
Analyze and assess DoD logistics, maintenance, supply chain and acquisition policies and procedures against current performance metrics and make recommendations on policy and/or process improvements.
Communicate with clients through written reports and oral presentations.
Develop talking points and press releases.
Research subject matter and prepare point papers/speeches/remarks for use by senior DoD officials to internal and external organizations.
Produce charts and other presentation materials.
Prepare and finalize correspondence including letters, memoranda, briefings, speeches, presentations, meeting minutes, and reports.
Qualifications Undergraduate degree required.
Undergraduate degree in finance, business administration, supply chain management, or similar logistics discipline preferred.
Graduate degree preferred.

plus years experience in DoD logistics, finance, maintenance, supply chain management or acquisition.
Prior military or DoD civilian/contractor experience (preferred).
Good quantitative and analytical skills.
Demonstrated ability to use MS Office Suite to include Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Excel.
Superior communication skills, both oral and written (required).
High energy, enthusiasm, tact, ability to effectively interact with senior executives from Government and industry as well as Pentagon staff members.
Ability to create and foster a cooperative work environment.
Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities.
Availability for occasional travel.
Current active SECRET clearance.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
