Transparency is a strategic new software-as-a-service launched by Amazon for the global consumer goods industry.
We focus on building a global service that allows consumer brands and consumers to trace the origin of items throughout the supply chain ensuring only authentic items enter the supply chain.
The Transparency service is focused on preventing the receipt and sale of counterfeit goods both online and offline.
Our customers include individual consumer brands who sell both on and off Amazon direct and through a network of direct and third-party sellers.
Key job responsibilitiesTransparency is seeking an experienced supply chain consultant who will participate in pre- and post-sales engagements to assess the readiness of Enterprise brands to adopt Transparency and define solutions to simplify implementation.
You will capture best practices, key learning and act as a bridge between enterprise brands and our product development team to influence our product roadmap.
You will also work closely with third-party service providers who develop complementary solutions simplifying Transparency deployment.
The position will have a high degree of ambiguity with priorities and objectives being shaped by learning from customers' needs.
Key job responsibilitieso Actively participate in the sales cycle to address supply chain workflow questions, address C-Level inquiries, define solutions.
o Educate enterprise brands and third-party solution providers on the benefit of automation with Transparency APIs.
o Develop logical and repeatable business and technical solutions in partnership with third-party supply chain providers (print, coding, and barcode reading equipment providers)o Document best practices, key learning, and enterprise feature requests that inform and influence the product roadmap.
o Build deep internal relationships with senior technical leaders within Transparency and across other Amazon teams.
o Build deep external relationships with senior technical and operations individuals at key enterprise brands and third-party solution providers.
A day in the lifeAs a Supply Chain Consultant you will participate in the Transparency sales cycle with the enterprise sales team, gaining insights into brands' supply chain operations, and building relationships with brand operational leadership.
You will visit customer factories, assess their operational readiness to implement Transparency serialization, and have direct influence streamlining brands' operational processes by documenting learning, best practices, and features enabling automation.
A trusted customer advocate, you will continually advocate for features that improve brand experience influencing our product team and third-party solution providers.
