Job DescriptionPrivia Health seeks an Associate Counsel to provide support on a wide range of legal matters.
This position will support the other members of the legal team in complex healthcare transactions, but will also have an opportunity to work autonomously on contract drafting, review, and negotiations.
The ideal candidate should be agile and comfortable working in a fast-paced remote environment.
Primary Job DutiesAssist legal team members with drafting and negotiating complex healthcare transactionsAssist with due diligence and corporate/legal filings Draft and negotiate a wide variety of transaction documents, including non-disclosure agreements, letters of intent, purchase agreements and affiliation agreementsAssist in contract negotiationsIdentify issues and collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve conflicting interests and objectivesEscalate issues to senior team members, as appropriateProvide advice and guidance to internal stakeholders with respect to corporate governance issuesPeriodically assist with the review and implementation of policies and proceduresPerform in a cross-functional coordination role with other business team members (eg, commercial, finance, operations, procurement) Direct legal aspects of post-closing integration of acquisitions and joint venturesHandle other tasks as assigned QualificationsJ.
