Configuration Manager (TS Clearance)
By Light is seeking an experienced Configuration Manager to support the Compartmented Enterprise Services Office (CESO) Task Order for the GIG Service Management - Operations II (GSM-O II) contract.
This person should be a seasoned, self-motivated, professional with experience supporting high performing teams in a high op-tempo environment.
They should be results oriented and enables solutions and forward progress to achieve success.
Due to the secure nature of the program all system changes require thoughtful plans, design reviews, and detailed documentation prior to execution, which requires ongoing detailed management of all requests for change on the system.
With the CESO program, the Defense Information System Agency (DISA) is looking to transform the existing Secure Web Services (SWS) environment, used to provide secure information sharing to the community, into a more mature service offering to meet the DoD and IC community.
As part of this task order, By Light will manage the commercial cloud migration and disestablishment of VSD and CIS, fully automate the continuous development & continuous integration environment, fourth estate consolidation, professionalize services - ITIL/DevSecOps based processes, improve the customer experience 1st call resolution, and achieve development of a service catalog for Defense Working Capital Fund (DWCF) Model.
Reporting on metrics of tickets (Request for Change(RFC's), Change Request(CRQ's))
Managing the ticketing process (Remedy)
Own and enforce strict adherence to hardware/software release processes, using best practices.
Provide configuration status accounting and version management.
Produce clear and concise written communication and deliverables.
Freedom to manage, own, and develop solutions and new processes as required.
Define, update and extend Program Configuration Management/Document Management SOPs and team work instructions; cross-train
Maintain configuration control throughout all phases of the product life cycle, whether documentation, software, hardware, etc.
Manage and track changes to baselines.
Schedule, prepare, review, version, publish (deliver) and track Configuration Management documents and actions per Program procedures
Support Program configuration control board functions:
scheduling meetings; generating agendas, minutes, action item reminders; meeting facilitation and note/action item taking; updating electronic control boards with:
actions, assignees, status comments, due dates; following-up with assignees to drive on-time actions
Responsibilities include maintaining an overall configuration and data management process.
Provide configuration status reporting and support contract deliverables.
Participates in design reviews, configuration audits, and evaluations of software products to ensure proper identification, control, and status accounting of the software baseline.
Responsible for audits, baseline identification, and preparation and control of documentation for the project.
Create and process Change Requests (CR) within the CMDB
Maintain and update Configuration Management policies, procedures and standards.
BS degree and 8
years of directly relevant experience.
Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
IAT Level II Baseline Certification (eg CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security
CE, CND, SSCP) Ability to translate highly technical matter to non-technical audience
Experience managing software and hardware configuration in Remedy.
Candidate will interact with military, other contractors, and US Government personnel; therefore, requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
Prior experienced with DISA and DISA's support to mission partners

TS/SCI w/CI Poly Preferred
Master's degree in IT, or related field
Candidate must possess an active DOD TS/SCI level security clearance, and be eligible to obtain and maintain aw/CI Poly
