Data Management Project Manager

ECS is seeking a Data Management Project Manager to work in our Arlington, VA office.
ECS is looking for a Data Management Project Manager who is passionate about building high performing teams and creating trusting customer relationships.
Strong candidates will have a desire to drive strategic initiatives that take advantage of modern approaches to technology, business delivery, and the use of data.
The Data Management Project Manager is responsible for the performance of mid-sized technical projects or a definable portion of a larger technical program in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Directs and supervises all support resources for the performance of project assignments and activities.
Manages the technical direction of a project through the design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives.
Provides direct customer liaison and interaction on project tasks.
Also responsible for acquiring follow-on business associated with assigned projects and for supporting new business development by leading relatively small proposals or assisting with major proposals.

Responsibilities:
Develop and design implementation plans and roadmaps for data driven cyber strategies Develop and manage strong relationships with federal technical leads to ensure continued progress on identified initiatives Leading and coaching team members through the Agile development lifecycle Provide thought leadership and strategic guidance Act as an advocate for the team and customer Resolve blockers and building consensus across multiple stakeholders and initiatives Work across multiple domains and stakeholders to drive strategies & achieve objectives Support project, initiative, reporting and overall portfolio quarterly planning processes to evolve the overall organization Required Skills:
Must be a US Citizen Must hold a TS/SCI Minimum of 7 years' experience as a project manager leading small to medium size engagements Experience managing deeply technical and strategy teams in data science, data analytics, data management, and data lakes Ability to manage multiple levels of stakeholders Proven ability to define requirements and milestones for data management strategy and roadmaps based on client requirements, and articulating them to delivery and technical teams for tracking and ensuring progression and viable solution delivery Experience understanding Data Management Principles such as Data Design Architecture, ETL, Data Warehouse/Data Lake, Business Intelligence Background and experience managing workstreams involved with ingestion of data from various data sources, and defining appropriate safeguards and queries to allow for secure access to information for various operations and dashboarding Experience managing complex projects (eg projects that span multiple organization units, have high technical complexity or impact on larger programs) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or other Industry Related Certification Ability to lead teams through multiple delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.
) Desired Skills:
Holding DHS Suitability/EOD Background and experience working with DHS Technical background in data engineering and data management experience to develop, design, and implement data solutions Experience leading multiple Agile Development Teams as Scrum Master and/or as RTE in a Scaled Environment Agile experience/knowledge of key agile techniques include SAFe, Kanban, Lean, XP and Scrum Agile Project Management Certifications such as SAFe Agile, Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, etc.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
