Job summaryAmazon is seeking an experienced and highly motivated paralegal to join our diverse (and fun) team as we support our expanding and evolving Litigation Legal operations.
This is an excellent opportunity to join us and work on various litigation matters relating to government and regulatory investigations, antitrust, IP infringement, product liability, risk, labor & employment, and compliance.
This role will be responsible for internal fact investigation, document and deposition discovery support, identifying and interviewing witnesses, drafting document and information preservation notices, settlement payment issuance support, project management, and acting as a liaison between legal, outside counsel, finance and all other business partners.
Ideal candidates must be experienced in project management, eager to streamline work processes, have an in-depth understanding of government regulatory investigations, and possess the ability to adapt to current and future responsibilities, as well as the willingness to expand responsibilities as needed.
Successful candidates must be able to pursue litigation cases/projects to completion with minimum input or direction, take initiative in creating and streamlining work processes, and work effectively on a variety of simultaneously active litigation matters.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
