Senior Java Developer

ECS is seeking a Senior Java Developer to work in our Arlington, VA office.
ECS currently seeking a meticulous, determined, and energetic Java Developer to join our team.
This role will provide custom Java application development expertise, as well as automation and cloud migration support, for a federal customer.

Responsibilities:
Work directly with clients to provide engineering solutions and debugging support Develop custom Java applications per client specifications Identify and develop enhancements to existing applications Develop software application tests and testing strategies Script solutions to automate manual processes Follow and instruct others on version control processes Develop solutions to strengthen the security in and around applications Leverage application metrics to inform technical and business decisions Analyze industry specific requirements/technologies and provide insight Automate administrative tasks using configuration management tools, such as Ansible Required Skills:
Must be a US Citizen A Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent of 5 years of experience 7
years' integration, systems analysis or programming experience 5
years' debugging and managing Services / Applications in Production environments 4
years' experience with Apache/Tomcat Experience creating/working with custom Java applications Experience working with springboot framework Experience supporting/creating REST and SOAP applications Experience with developing and maintaining customer facing applications Familiarity with Agile methodology and phase-based delivery methods Desired Skills:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
