Summary:
The Operations Manager is responsible for the planning and orchestration of all implementation and maintenance of IT systems of the Information Technology department.
The Operations Manager plans, coordinates, and oversees all daily operational activities.
The Operations Manager is also responsible for coordinating the design, implementation, and monitoring of all system alerts to ensure that AAMVA IT systems are operating at the highest level of up-time.
The Operations Manager manages daily helpdesk operations related to technical and procedural issues for all AAMVA IT applications.
The Operations Manager ensures that all users and trading partners are kept informed during system outrages, as well as ensuring that proper resource levels are engaged to address technical issues.
The Operations Manager is in charge of business continuity and disaster recovery within the department.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Create and implement IT policies and procedures that enable strong operational efficiency, high security and comprehensive risk-management capabilities.
Manage Help Desk team to ensure professional development and achieve high technical skills.
Coordinates the selection, implementation, and upgrade of the business's software/applications and services.
In coordination with other technology Division leaders, review and enhance business recovery strategy for the purpose of resuming operations of system architecture in the event of a disaster.
Lead the process and team members in the analysis, enhancement, and tailoring of current practices and existing systems in order to increase operating efficiencies.
Ensure consistency and maintainability of existent infrastructure environments through the creation, maintenance, and enforcement of well documented standards and procedures for the implementation of technical solutions.
Direct and manage all production support/ helpdesk staff and contractors that support AAMVA' customer applications for North American Jurisdictions, and Third-Party customers.
Day-to-day management of Tier-1 helpdesk operation's staff that respond to internal/external customer incidents and queries via tickets, email, and phone.

Qualifications:
10
years working experience in a senior IT position within a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment with a broad knowledge of system development's full life cycle and ITIL.
10
years of direct personnel management of an Operations Team and/ or a complex Helpdesk department.
Prior direct experience troubleshooting and resolving complex networks, systems, and applications outages and issues.
Formal Education:
Four-year degree in Information systems, or equivalent from accredited college or university.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Technologically adept and exceptional computer skills.
Highly knowledgeable in enterprise level Cloud technologies and be competent in defect tracking and agile management tools.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels, whether internal or external (jurisdictions and business partners), to meet established goals.
Ability to organize, manage and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
Extensive experience explaining complex technical and business issues, to technical and non-technical personnel, and internal and external customers.
Ability to interpret, analyze and apply technical information to provide comprehensive solutions to complex problems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
