com This position is part of the AWS People, eXperience & Technology (PXT) (PXT=HR) leadership team and reports to the Head of PXT for AWS Global Commercial Go-To-Market (GTM).
This individual will be the PXT leader for one of the largest and dynamic GTM teams in AWS.
The scope of this role includes direct partnership with an executive leadership team, led by the Vice President, Americas Commercial Sales of AWS.
The role leads the formulation of the people and organization strategy, building of appropriate mechanisms, and support for the AWS North America Commercial Sales business.
This role can be based in select AWS locations including HQ2 (Arlington VA), New York NY, Austin TX, San Francisco Bay Area, or Seattle WA.
This position is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full cycle human resources support to our AWS North America Commercial Sales organization.
We are looking for an HR professional who has the ability to diagnose issues and influence solutions/outcomes.
The individual in this role must be able to interface effectively with professionals at all levels of the organization.
You will need business acumen, excellent communication skills, influencing skills, strategic thinking and planning/project management skills, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast paced, rigorous environment.
Key job responsibilitiesRESPONSIBILITIESIn this role, you will:
o Partner with PXT and business leadership to formulate strategy, mitigate risks and drive results o Work across multiple functions to accelerate the retention and development of talent o Partner with the AWS talent acquisition team to build systemic and scalable recruiting programs to create a sustainable pipeline of talent.
o Function as a consultant and counselor to key leaders and their respective organizations; engage in strategic planning meetings to translate business needs into human resources planso Lead the annual PXT efforts relating to Talent and Performance Management, Compensation Management, Succession Planning and Leadership Development for respective client groups o Drive operational excellence and efficiency in human resources processes to enable the organization to hire and develop talent at scale and consistently to Amazon principles o Lead and develop a direct team of HRBPs in the United StatesKEY OBJECTIVESKey Strategic Objectiveso Co-develop and implement talent acquisition/growth strategy/roadmap on an annual and long-range basis to meet the overall growth goals of the AWS North America Commercial Sales organization o Partner with cross functional teams to develop comprehensive workforce planning to meet future staffing goals o Bring innovative strategic thinking to the talent management function and devise alternative development and succession planning approaches within the respective client group o Ensure we are hiring and promoting the right people who perpetuate our culture Focus and Deliverables for First 12 Monthso Develop and own the strategic human resources plans and goals for the business o Partner with business to drive the GTM strategyo Define leadership capacity needs and operationalize strategyo Lead the annual talent management programs including performance management, promotions, development plans, and compensation across the organization at all levels o Establish organizational metrics and audit core people metrics to measure the health of the organization and develop programs that lead to improvement A day in the lifeTHE CANDIDATEThis leader will have experience working in high growth, fast-paced, technology driven environments and will have served as a critical member of a leadership team in helping a business scale rapidly.

This leader must be able to respond effectively to changing conditions and have experience implementing human resources programs necessary to drive and embed lasting change with positive results.
This leader will always be innovating and testing new ways to attract, retain and develop high performing talent, ensuring that the right people are in the right roles in all locations and businesses.

Background will include:
o Broad experience and specific knowledge of human resource theory, including employee relations, development and performance appraisal systemso Experience in a high-tech environment o Ability to establish credibility and work with key internal partners to get things done o Management and delivery of projects with the highest levels of performance, reliability, usability and customer delight o Has a data driven approach with strong analytics skills o Strong decision-making skills o Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
