This position will be responsible for supporting the restaurant & RSC's bartaco restaurants and RSC's software applications and computer hardware.
This includes implementation, installation, and support for Micros RES 3700 POS, as well as our digital menu platforms for existing restaurants and new store openings.
Work as an integral member of an existing technical support team.
Primary
Responsibilities:
? Provide both on and off-site support, telephone support, and remote access support for hardware and software for our Restaurants and RSC.
? Menu management of items and price changes on our POS (Micros RES 3700), online ordering (Olo), and contactless Dine In (One Dine) platforms as well as database updating and maintenance.
? Able to manage and perform assigned tasks effectively, work together with others as a cohesive team, communicate and act professionally within the workplace and with clients.
? Assist with the installation and maintenance of POS servers, terminals and printers ? Assist with the installation, configuration, training, and support for the restaurant technology systems for new restaurant openings.
? Analyze and modify centrally developed database, reports, and related applications as required to ensure that all requirements are met prior to system installation.
? Research ways to continually improve POS operations ? Maintain a good knowledge of existing and future software and hardware products.
? Provide backup support to IT Team for basic networking, connectivity, email, and user support ? Be able to create effective documentation, including preparation of training outlines.
? Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
? Bachelor's Degree preferred with a minimum of 2 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
? Minimum 2 years of experience in tech support or help desk role within the hospitality industry.
? Working knowledge of POS software.
Micros RES 3700 is preferred ? Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
? Customer service acumen.
? Time management and ability to work with limited supervision.
? Ability and willingness to travel as required.
