Event Support/Facilities Position

This position would consist of primarily evening (M-F) and weekend shifts to support event needs.
Specific shift times would be flexible to meet event needs.
This is a full-time (40 hour), hourly position with overtime hours available.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES Reports to Facilities Director Assigned various tasks by the Activities Director relating to event support Setting up and staging necessary event support logistic items (ie:
tables, chairs, stage, trash cans, etc.
) Providing relevant information to event attendees and interaction with the public Performing security roles, ensuring access to areas is limited and secured Provide on site facilities knowledge and point person for troubleshooting Facilitating the proper organization and cleanliness of venues Upholding any necessary safety precautions Providing Post event support and leadership, returning space to normal configuration and directing clean-up Checking equipment and event support items into an inventory system and inspecting for potential damage Perform general and routine maintenance support repairs and activities, working knowledge of tools, trades and equipment Event Staff Requirements:
High level of attention to detail Strong organizational skills A positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills Strong verbal and written communication Ability to work independently Evening/Weekend flexible work schedule Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, set up/tear down folding tables/chairs Working knowledge or understanding of trades systems and the ability to perform routine maintenance tasks.
