To Apply for this Job Click Here Our client, a public health consulting firm in Arlington, VA, is seeking a temporary Events Coordinator to provide logistical support for events and committee meetings! About You:

years of relevant event planning experience.
Previous experience looking over venue agreements is ideal.
Proficient in MS Office Products (specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
Excellent oral/written communication, collaboration, multitasking, project/time management skills.
Ability to work a hybrid schedule on-site (2 days/week) at the Arlington, VA location.
The Job:
Assist with scheduling, organizing meetings, managing attendee contact lists, and assembly of event-related materials.
Take meeting minutes; proofread/distribute minutes to committees.
Draft communications and written materials for meeting participants; respond to internal and external inquiries.
Proofread, edit, format, and organize presentations, reports, and other project materials.
Enter data and report on post-event evaluations, report outcomes, and make recommendations for improvements.
This is an exciting temporary position that pays $25/hr-$28/hr (DOE) and is slated to last through October with potential to extend.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
