Senior Financial Analyst (Secret Clearance Required)

We are currently seeking a dedicated professional with a proven track record of success to join our team.
This full-time position supports the Office of Naval Research (ONR).
The Senior Program Analyst will be responsible for assisting senior ONR government personnel with financial execution tasks.
The ideal candidate will be a fast learner, self-starter (motivated), and team player.
Candidates should possess expert level experience working with Microsoft Excel, and must have experience with government planning, forecasting, program budgeting, funding, execution management, and reporting against commitment, obligation, and expenditure benchmarks.
Position Requirements:
A high school diploma plus at least 15 years of experience providing administrative, business, and/or financial support OR a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university and 12 years of experience providing administrative, business and/or financial support.
Working knowledge of the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR).
Experience with government planning, forecasting, program budgeting, funding, execution management, and reporting against commitment, obligation, and expenditure benchmarks.
Active DoD Secret level security clearance.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power-Point.
Some Navy ERP (Navy Accounting System) experience preferred.
Effective at working independently and collaboratively.
Ability to complete tasks fast and accurately with minimal supervision.
Ability to track and follow through on projects to completion.
Superior organization and interpersonal skills.
Position Location:
Hybrid work schedule (3 days/week telework from home & 2 days/week onsite at ONR office located in Arlington, VA).
Work hours:
Monday - Friday, 40 hrs/week.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
