Communications System Test Engineer TS/SCI Required

Jacobs is seeking a Communications Systems Test Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting our customer in the National Capital Region.
In this position you'll be a part of a team that shapes the strategic future for our clients and defines the strategy to get them there.
This position requires an active DoD TS/SCI security clearance that has been adjudicated in the last 5 years and the ability to obtain and maintain special accesses.
Responsibilities:
Work as a member of small test and evaluation team to develop communications test plans, direct test execution, conduct data analysis of results, and identify trends and anomalies in systems under test or test methodologies applied which impact overall and individual performance metrics.
Systems under evaluation span voice, video and data systems and services across IP and RF networks.
Provide technical advice and assistance to testing sites and user community on program objectives, test execution protocols and procedures, system operations and reporting criteria.
Support development and delivery of on and offsite training events to user community related to the testing program and associated communication systems.
Support new initiatives including technical studies, pilot projects, technology upgrades, insertions and integration efforts that provide new or enhanced mission capabilities; develop new test methodologies, procedures and metrics that evaluate, and drive improved operational and system performance.
Conduct background research and provide analytical support and recommendations for the development of data collection plans to improve testing effectiveness and suitability.
Support requirements analysis, systems requirements reviews, development of interoperability interface standards and provide technical/non-technical assessment recommendations on communications related systems.
Use current MS Office applications to build analysis products that capture and convey the results of the testing program.
Contribute to project effort to upgrade and migrate current testing environment to introduce more robust data analytics, visualization and business intelligence tools that will improve program analytical capabilities and provide customer with actionable insight to determine future program goals and objectives.
Review and interpret changes to policy, doctrine, and directives to determine impact to current test objectives, approaches and established processes.
Identify process improvements, efficiency gains and innovative approaches to improve the testing program and increase customer value; make recommendations and inform customer of best practices.
Participate in activities to ensure knowledge creation/sharing and integration within and across the work program as appropriate.

Position requires strong verbal and written communications skills.
Familiarity with military and commercial communications systems and the ability to demonstrate proficiency in technical analysis, and problem solving.
Position requires 10% travel per year.
Preferred:
BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Telecommunications, with a minimum of (6-8) years of progressive.
Significant familiarity with military and commercial communications systems and the ability to demonstrate proficiency in RF communications principles, technical analysis, and problem solving.
10 years of Department of Defense (DoD) communications systems experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
