As a Data Assurance Engineer, you will help drive development and implementation for unstructured data scanning, classification, and remediation utilizing data loss prevention and other scanning solutions/tools.
This includes creating/tuning scanning and classification rules, finding correlating data points, and determining the appropriate path moving forward for one of the world's largest networks.
Build automation supporting solution management, reporting, and analytics.
You will also collaborate with internal InfoSec functional areas, Infrastructure, Data Governance, Privacy and other business areas to align with security, data, and privacy frameworks, initiatives, and policies.
You will have the opportunity to protect the data of millions of customers, associates, and Walmart's ever-expanding infrastructure across the globe.
What you'll bring:
Experience driving technical initiatives.
Experience in automation design and implementation.
Knowledge of some coding/scripting languages (SQL, Java, C#, Python, PowerShell, Bash) Experience supporting information technology solutions at scale.
General understanding of information technology and/or cybersecurity principles along with a security mindset.
Self-motivated, able to raise innovative ideas, and possess a heightened sense of urgency.
Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
Critical thinking skills and ability to troubleshoot problems to understand root causes.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
