We are seeking Research Scientist skills to support 4 service areas:
Intelligence Services:
analysis and intelligence management Technical Services:
systems integration, cybersecurity, science and technology, counterintelligence, IT project management, security, risk management Financial Services:
financial management and the National Intelligence Program (NIP) management Management Services:
facilities management, asset and logistics management, continuity of operations, and disclosure and classification management Primary
Responsibilities:
Performing in-depth technical studies requiring specialized skills or knowledge.
Seeking experience in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
Developing technology road-maps to achieve mission needs.
Conducting risk/benefit analysis of different technical choices or outcomes.
Providing independent reviews and summaries of technical and scientific literature.
Performing horizon scanning to identify emerging threats or opportunities, identifying available commercial and open source capabilities, and establishing industry benchmarks.
Participating, presenting, and producing materials for working groups, workshops, and interagency forums to provide expertise and technical consultation.
Providing expertise and advice on research and development processes and providing recommendations on how to adopt technologies into IC capabilities.
Providing technical consultation and assessments on specific topics.
Informing the development of IC-wide science and technology policies, requirements, needs, risks, and investments.
Basic
Qualifications:
An active TS/SCI with Poly Requires BS degree and 12 - 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 - 13 years of prior relevant experience.
May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
Experience providing advice, analysis, and insight on Science and Technology areas.
Experience in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, position level based on experience in the technical area.
abundancePay Range:
Pay Range $118,300.
00 - $182,000.
00 - $245,700.
00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
