Senior User Researcher, People Experience and Technology
This position can be based in Seattle, WA, Arlington, VA, Austin, TX, Sunnyvale, CA, or New York, NY.
The Central Science Team within Amazon's People Experience and Technology org (PXTCS) uses economics, behavioral science, statistics, and machine learning to proactively identify mechanisms and process improvements which simultaneously improve Amazon and the lives, well-being, and the value of work to Amazonians.
We are an interdisciplinary team, which combines the talents of science, research, design and engineering to develop and deliver solutions that measurably achieve this goal.
Our team is looking for a Senior UX Researcher to help shape and execute research strategy, working closely in a collaborative environment to understand opportunities for disruption.
You will drive actionable insights that help guide decisions as we create engaging, beautiful, and customer-focused experiences for our Amazon employees.

Key job responsibilities- Define the long-term vision, strategy, and goals for UX research- Define and execute a comprehensive research roadmap, using the best mix of quantitative and qualitative methods.
- Deliver effective research insights to support PxT executives in strategic decision making.
- Partner with UX Designers, to deliver meaningful insights that drive design direction.
- Create repeatable and scalable mechanisms to evaluate solutions from a holistic customer perspective.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
