Facility Planning and Coordination Specialist

SummaryThe position is in the Bureau of Diplomatic Security, Executive Directorate, Office of Management Services, Logistics Services Division (DS/MGT/LS).
You will be responsible for overseeing facility planning and space utilization on behalf of all DS domestic operations, representing DS' interests and requirements to the Bureau of Administration offices responsible for providing those services.

Develops multi-year space management plans for Diplomatic Security's offices and organizations, including long-term 10 to 20-year projects and consolidations.
Supervises a staff of FTEs and Personal Services Contractor employees and oversees the work of other contractor personnel responsible for the organization's functions.
Coordinates moves of DS activities, including moves between several buildings, occupancy of new buildings, and construction of new facilities.

Time-In-Grade Requirements:
Federal applicants must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade to satisfy time-in-grade restrictions, per 5CFR 300, Subpart F.
Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
-Experience overseeing the planning and development and maintenance of domestic facilities.
-Experience providing advice and guidance to management relating to building management programs and activities.
-Experience researching, analyzing and developing new information to solve complex problems in architectural, construction and project management activities.
-Experience coordinating activities with other organizations and conducting studies and analysis of operations.
In addition, applicant's experience must also demonstrate that the candidate possesses the following qualities:
Ability to assign, review, and supervise the work of others; Objectivity and fairness in judging people on their ability, and situations on the facts and circumstances; Ability to adjust to change, work pressures, or difficult situations without undue stress; Willingness to consider new ideas or divergent points of view; and Capacity to see the job through.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job.
