As a part of the Product Security group within AWS Security, we help AWS launch new products/services and new features to existing products securely.
You will be responsible for leading a team of security engineers conducting security reviews, threat modeling and hands on security evaluations.
You will also own evolving the security assurance process, and creating metrics to demonstrate your team's performance.
You will help set the direction for a team of security professionals that is responsible for all AWS products and services.
This role combines long term strategic planning to raise the bar on security across the enterprise with the excitement and challenge of quickly reacting to new threat scenarios.
This position will provide you with a challenging opportunity to define and drive fundamental security outcomes for everything underlying the global AWS business, from tangible hardware devices to operational procedures.
The successful candidate must be comfortable diving into complex engineering discussions, and leveraging deep security expertise to ensure proper risk assessment and threat analysis is performed.
You will provide crystal-clear technical direction and risk mitigation guidance for diverse engineering and business leaders at all levels.
By applying your hard-earned years of practical security engineering expertise in projects related to enterprise networking, hardware-rooted security, operating system hardening, and cloud-scale administrative infrastructure, you will literally shape the future of cloud computing.
As a Technical Manager at Amazon, you own a strategically important system architecture, major technology product, and/or suite of products with significant business impact.
As a manager, you are responsible for establishing the right engineering team structure and overall technology strategy to meet a long-term business need.
You determine whether it is appropriate to make a case to resource a large engineering initiative (spanning multiple years) and when to prioritize the resolution of an endemic problem over a current request.
You are able to recognize where there needs to be a team boundary to better encapsulate technologies and where teams could combine for a better outcome.
You are accountable for the execution and overall experience of your engineering team(s), the systems they create, their quality, and how they meet business goals.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
