Our clients expect top-notch customer service skills, and expect the staff to be knowledgeable when asked questions.
Candidates need to be detail-oriented; critical-thinkers and problem-solvers; and comfortable with billing, claims processing, and dental terminology.
Those with a background in dental, retail sales, or the hospitality industry would be preferred, as they will be responsible for selling cosmetic treatment.
Willing to train the right person.
Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients as they arrive at the clinic or emergency room - Verify patient information and update records as necessary - Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member - Schedule appointments and follow-up visits for patients - Collect co-pays and process payments - Assist with insurance verification and claims processing - Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting preferred - Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Proficient in using phone systems and computer software - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Note:
