This company is located in the DC Metro Area, a 12-month contract-to-hire and will remain 100% remote.
What You Will Be Doing:
Establishing financial and operational processes and controls.
General Ledger Account Analysis and Management.
Assist with General Ledger postings under the NS2 Controller's guidance.
Assist in General Ledger / accounting monthly close activities.
Financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and tracking of financial results.
Perform special operational and financial projects as required.
Required Skills &
Experience:
Works on a wide range of problems of diverse scope and complexity where analysis of data and/or situations require evaluation of identifiable factors (root cause).
Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and for obtaining solutions.
5-7 years of accounting and/or Finance experience.
Strong SAP Accounting Systems background and G/L experience desired.
Experience or knowledge of BW reporting.
Knowledge of IFRS accounting issues, Revenue Recognition guidelines, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Recommended Skills Accounting Accounting Systems Cloud Computing Finance Financial Analysis Financial Management Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
