We are seeking a Cyber and Assessment SME to support the US Space Force Headquarters Staff, Pentagon.
This position requires a TS/SCI Security Clearance.
The Cyber and Assessment SME will support the US Space Force Headquarters Staff, Pentagon.
The USSF is a military service that organizes, trains, and equips space forces to protect U.
S.
and allied interests in space and to provide space capabilities to the joint force.
USSF responsibilities include developing Guardians, acquiring military space systems, maturing the military doctrine for space power, and organizing space forces to present to our Combatant Commands.
The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 established the USSF as a new branch of the Armed Forces within the Department of the Air Force (DAF).
Key
Responsibilities:
Interface and perform Space Force strategy and plans-related analysis and support with the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and the offices of the Joint Staff, Department of the Air Force (to include the Secretary of the Air Force and Air Force Staffs), Field Commands, and other joint, Service, and international partners, as required.
Interface and perform technical and programmatic liaison support with COCOMS, OSD,SAF/SP, SF/IA, and USSF field commands conducting or interfacing with programs, policies, strategies, plans, guidance, and support to global defense posture planning.
Document, coordinate, advise, assist, review, and inspect required cybersecurity assessments, processes, and artifacts.
Conduct cybersecurity analysis of system and system of systems within strategic mission architectures, documenting and integrating findings across Mission Assurance efforts across HQ USSF staff.
Contribute and submit reports related to assessment findings associated with cybersecurity issues within mission architecture.
Assess information security related products and documents and interpret DoD, AF issuances.
Advise senior leadershipin planning, developing, and coordinating classified activities in support of USSF's globalmission.
Support the development of new capability concepts, doctrine, Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TT&Ps), and other non-materiel solutions for terrestrial, maritime, air, space, and cyber integration.
Generate recommendations for new programs, policies, doctrine, strategies, studies, and approaches.
Analyze architectures to explore a broad range of material and non-materiel solutions to address enduring and potential future national security challenges and problems.
Provide expertise to conduct and support analyses and assessments for Space, terrestrial, maritime, air and cyber capabilities, assessing system of systems factors.
Support USSF key leader, staff, and component/sub-unit activities in the National Capital Region and engagements with key mission partners.
Plans, organizes, leads, and executes studies or projects and out-brief results to senior leadership.
Required Skills and
Experience:
Must have an active TS/SCI clearance to be considered for the position.
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent, plus 5-15 yrs.
