We are seeking a Quality Control / Quality Assurance Specialist to support our team based at the Pentagon for an exciting long-term (10
years) energy efficiency project.
Primary work will be in support of mechanical and electrical teams.
Schedule:
Four, 10 hour shifts.
Primarily supports day shift hours.
Will be required to work both weekend days (Saturday and Sunday).
Days off during the week are flexible (employee's choice).
Pay:
$90,000 - $110,000 based on experience.

3 weeks of paid vacation per calendar yearWhat you will doThis position is responsible for the management of the Quality Control functions, including the coordination, supervision and documentation of inspection and testing services for the project(s) assigned.
The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for assuring that the quality of the work meets or exceeds the project's contractual requirements and maintains the standard of excellence established by the customer.
How you will do ito Works with customer(s) to address and mitigate deficiencies in quality of service, contract scope of work, warranty items, or other related issues.
o Manages quality control inspection program to ensure compliance with performance work statement.
o Participates in the review of design, installation and documentation to ensure that the design and customer's requirements are met on assigned corrective work orders.
o Develops systems and procedures to clarify preventive maintenance work instructions.
o Develops new approaches to solve problems identified during quality control activities.
o Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality control activities and provides recommended process improvements to management to drive efficiencies.
o Leads the CQC team and conducts Quality Control meetings at the job site.
o Resolves client problems and/or conflicts as it pertains to quality and maintains open communication with the client including providing regular written and oral reports to ensure satisfaction.
o Provides technical expertise and guidance to account teams and staff and manages resolution of complex problems.
o Complies with all company policies and procedures and adheres to company standards.
o Generate reports on work performed and not deficiencies.
Provide daily updates and reports for review and submission to the customero Performs other duties as required.
What we look forRequired:
o Five (5) or more years of Quality Control (QC) and/or Quality Assurance (QA) experienceo Qualified to evaluate performance in various trades.
Experience supporting mechanical and electrical trades work highly preferred.
o Proficiency in a Windows operating environment, including email and Microsoft Office software.
o Demonstrated planning, problem solving, data analysis, blueprint/schematic reading, organization, inter-personal, and communication skills with proven leadership skills and decision making abilities.
o Must be a team player, committed to working in a quality environment.
o The ability to obtain and maintain a Construction Quality Management (CQM) certification (within 3 months of hire)o The ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances.
(This involves a background/character, criminal history, employment, and credit check.
)Preferredo Knowledge of the Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Control program standardso Experience working with HVAC and/or Direct Digital Control (DDC) systemso Knowledge of BACnet systemso Experience supporting an occupied facility while under renovation.
o Experience in operation and maintenance practices in the building service industry.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
