Business Development Director


Responsibilities:
Peraton is seeking an ambitious Business Development Director with demonstrated success identifying and qualifying new business opportunities within the DHS marketspace.
As a key member in our Cyber Mission Sector, you will provide leadership, critical thought, and a strategic mindset to winning business opportunities.
You will partner with strategy, capture teams, program management teams, and functional leadership to develop account growth strategies, identify and define growth vectors, and plan and execute customer engagements, win strategies, solutions, and proposals.
Success in this role is ultimately measured by meeting and exceeding acquisition and financial targets aligned to company goals.
Responsibilities:
DHS CISA Account Director responsible for establishing a new business pipeline of $20M
opportunities in alignment with corporate and sector CISA divisions and Mission Enabling Office growth strategy and goals.
Establish marketing campaigns, call plans, and strategic partnerships to improve service and product offerings and achieve business objectives.
Develop and mature key relationships within the customers organizations.
Research and analyze the competitive landscape to identify market shifts, locate gaps, and pinpoint marketing channels.
Organize information into digestible, actionable plans.
Design and manage opportunity business case development including budget.
Develop and deliver required business acquisition artifacts, reports, and presentations.
Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPI) that have a major impact on meaningful and measurable revenue growth through winning new business.
Cooperate with other leaders within the Cyber Mission sector and across the enterprise to maintain consistent messaging with customers and drive overall enterprise success.
Travel as required, as dictated by business need.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelors degree and 16
(or MS 14+, PhD 10+) years of professional experience.
Experience in lieu of education will be considered.
Proven success with establishing and executing a pipeline of opportunities across the full life cycle of the business acquisition process from opportunity concept through pursuit, winning, and program startup.
Deep understanding of customer missions and strategy across their entire enterprise.
Highly effective communicator to all levels within the company and with clients A demonstrated successful record of identifying, qualifying or winning cyber contracts in excess of $20M.
Active Top Secret clearance with SCI accessibility and EOD eligibility Desired:
Existing relationships with DHS - CISA customers.
Profit & Loss/program management experience.
Operational experience with cyber analytics, resiliency, and data protection Peraton Overview:

Target Salary Range:
$176,000 - $282,000.
This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
