Leidos is seeking a highly motivated and tactical, Technical Program Manager in our Arlington, VA office who will be responsible for growing and managing the group's portfolio in the areas of advanced airborne systems and custom microelectonicsThe candidate will be responsible for boosting strategic growth by understanding the customer's needs and creating and managing new business.

Responsibilities:
Professionalo Responsible for growing the business portfolio, capturing and winning new businesso Responsible for program management, proposal development and contract execution.
o Assist the Department Manager with the preparation and administration of departmental budgets, business plans and metrics Functionalo Plan, coordinate, and manage small, medium, and large-scale projects and programso Integrate all functions and activities necessary to ensure the project/program meets client/customer requirementso Direct project team members, manage cost and schedule, ensure contract compliance, and serve as customer interfaceo Manage technical aspects, costs, and schedule of assigned tasks or functionso Provide strong, proactive, and assertive leadership while engaging multi-discipline teams and responding to business needso Make decisions at the project team-level and properly escalate issues that cannot be resolved timelyo Create project management plans, set expectations, and ensure plans are driven by organizational procedureso Ensure requirements are gathered, documented, reviewed, and approved per organizational/program standardso Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within budget, and remain in scope; monitor and track project dependencieso Create a work breakdown structure defining all activities required for project deliverableso Manage project budget - maintain financial plan, track actuals vsplan, provide monthly forecasts, report monthly accrualso Create/deliver high-quality, informative, written/verbal project communications, including weekly project status, dashboards, and updateso Actively monitor, track, and manage project tasks, timelines, attainment of established milestones, and overall project quality Basic Qualifications :
o Proven experience working with DARPA and DoD program managers and business capture.
o Demonstrated experience with Electronic Warfare systems and/or custom microelectronics Systems, identifying mission technology gaps and developing future technologies to benefit the warfighter.
o Hands on technical management and execution of hardware driven advanced technology and prototype development programs for DoD systems.
o Proven ability to build and maintain lasting customer relationships, partnerships, and external stakeholder networkso Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project or similar project management toolo Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and adherence to data protection/other guidelines o Bachelors degree in a science or engineering field and 12
years of prior relevant management experienceo U.
Scitizen with an active Secret Collateral clearance and eligible for SCI accessPreferred
Qualifications:
o Prior experience in managing Department of Defense research efforts, including AFRL, DARPA, ONR, and similar customer organizations Demonstrated ability to manage multiple simultaneous efforts while keeping efforts on schedule and on budget.
o Prior experience in leading successful business development campaigns Demonstrated skills include the ability to effectively communicate with customers, understand their needs, and develop technical white papers and proposals.
o Master's degree in an engineering or science discipline with at least 10 years of prior relevant experience.

Pay Range $105,300.
00 - $190,350.
