TS/SCI AERMOR LLC is seeking qualified candidates who will be responsible for acquiring weapons systems for the Air Force (AF) and serve as the Procurement and Service Acquisition Executive and acquisition representative on the Air Force Council.
The candidate will be overseeing the Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation and procurement of major Air Force platforms and systems.
Responsibilities Include:
Examining, evaluating, and offering suggestions on the program's needs, space acquisition plans, documentation, phase transition plans, auxiliary data, and execution.
Delivering objective analyses of upcoming milestone choices as well as of technical and operational problems with prime contractors.
Assessing and researching program trends, finding problems, and making recommendations.
Making suggestions on the budget distribution, the establishment of program objectives, timetables, and goals, as well as the design of program direction.
Monitoring concerns and determining if the program is following its stated course.
Recognizing and investigating programmatic problems and trade-offs with regard to needed resources, expenses, and time constraints.
Reviewing and making recommendations about the application of Air Force space acquisition and capabilities area policies.
Preparing PPBE documentation to ensure they accurately articulate the existing program.
Monitoring and reporting Program Obligations and Expenditures using CRIS database.
Monitoring and reporting program spend plans and status using the Executive Comprehensive Cost and Requirement System (CCARS) database.
Monitoring and reporting Available and Planned Program Funding using ABIDES database.
Reviewing and documenting MDR and FOIA requests.
Reviewing capability area analysis and comparing current and programmed capabilities/scenarios to determine and clarify Air Force space system acquisition requirements.
Monitoring on-going studies, analyses, and developmental work relevant to space systems.
Supporting program-specific efforts like CONOPS development, CDD, CPD, IER, and requirements working groups.
Required Skills and
Experience:
10
years of task specific relevant experience.
MA/MS degree in a Business or Engineering discipline as well as over 15 years of acquisition or operational space experience.
Familiarity with the following software programs:
IDECS, PBES, Executive CCARS, and CRIS.
Recommended Skills Databases Procurement Management Sensitive Compartmented Information (Sci Clearance) Engineering Research Freedom Of Information Act Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
