Description TechOp Solutions, a leading provider of innovative solutions to the Federal, state, and local agencies is looking for a Senior Policy and Governance Analyst to join our team! As a Senior Policy and Governance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in influencing and guiding the development of policies and governance frameworks in support of a federal client.
Senior Policy and Governance Analyst responsibilities include:
o Offer guidance on engagement agreements, memoranda of understanding, and other policy documents.
o Communicate appropriate information regarding policy and governance to stakeholders per instruction from senior management.
o Provide guidance and facilitation to stakeholder actions such as drafting, updating, and revising policy and governance documents relative to their work with the program.
o Document appropriate governance documents in designated governance repository.
o Assist with communications and meetings with advisory groups, steering committees, working groups, and governance bodies affecting the program.
o Design, document, and maintain a governance model/matrix for the program's products and services that addresses information security, privacy, content management, management of user access, and other policy issues necessary to create and operate secure, trusted services.
o General policy research requirements in major subject areas like privacy, security and requirements management and assist with the editing and production of o associated policy documents and forms.
o Work closely with oversight offices including Privacy, Civil Rights and Civil Liberties, and the Office of General Counsel and policy offices to ensure the program office complies with appropriate legal, policy and regulatory requirements.
Requirements This senior-level position requires a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to provide strategic insights that support the organization's compliance and governance objectives.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in policy analysis, exceptional attention to detail, and a proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of policy and governance experience or a MA/MS degree.
Skills:
Proficient in communication, change management and mobilizing and engaging stakeholders.
Extensive experience researching and developing policy and governance models.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance best practices.
Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong presentation and demonstration skills to promote awareness and compliance with policies and governance.
Must be able to engage audiences across remote environments.
Experience working with government agencies and stakeholders.
